MASKING

HELLO,

I AM INQUIRING ABOUT A CERTAIN TYPE OF LIQUID MASKING OR MASKING TAPE THAT COULD BE USED TO MASK OFF AN ALREADY NICKEL PLATED PART THAT NEEDS TO BE RE-ANODIZED? MY CUSTOMER HAS USED QUITE A FEW PRODUCTS AND HASN'T FOUND ANYTHING THAT WILL HOLD ONTO THE NICKEL PLATED PARTS. WOULD YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I ALSO HAVE MINIMAL KNOWLEDGE ON CONDUCTIVE ANODIZING. THE SAME CUSTOMER IS USING A 3 MIL LEAD FOIL TAPE WITH RUBBER ADHESIVE AND CLAIMS ON THE CONDUCTIVE AREAS THE LEAD FILM IS BURNING? I DIDN'T THINK ANODIZING HAD HIGH TEMPS, AM I WRONG? PLEASE HELP.

THANK YOU,
