Patinas for metals
I'm trying to find out about patinas on metal. I saw a letter from Zuber Stewart (letter 2526) asking the same question and was told to order "The Coloring, Bronzing and Patination of Metals." That is an old book that cannot be ordered. Can anyone tell me how to patina metal (other than green, which I know how to do)? Or another book? Thanks.Mary Hearne

Ed. note, July '10: There was a very brief period when the Metal Finishing Guidebook was available on line, but these days you need to get a subscription to Metal Finishing magazine, or buy a used copy.
