Removing nickel from aluminum and iron sheet

I am making badges of aluminum and iron sheets. I want to know what is the nickel content in these metals and how can I make them nickel-free? Please guide me as soon as possible.

Manish Kalra

Hello Manish!

Unless you specify a nickel containing alloy, the amount of nickel in the iron will be 0.25% (residual amount) or less, and even less in the aluminum.

Good luck! lee gearhart
