Chrome is a heavy metal and in some forms is a carcinogen. Please leave this type of work to the plating companies who are trained to handle this type of material and can dispose of it properly.

Hi, Tim. I think he's referring to "chrome-look" paint, not spraying with actual chrome plating solution.

. We have an FAQ, "Introduction to Chrome Plating", that will tell you a lot about this subject. What you can do instead of actual chrome electroplating, and may be satisfied with, is "chrome-look paint". It has come a long way and has a good shine these days. Best of luck.
