The Safety of copper sulphate and Humans

Is copper sulphate on eBay or Amazon [affil link] safe to use in swimming pools?

Juanita Ferguson
- Smiths Falls, Ontario

Hello Juanita!

It all depends on what you're going to do with the copper sulphate, and how you're going to get rid of it. If you're going to pour it into the pool water to kill algae, I wouldn't do that and then swim in the water. Check out www.ilpi.com/msds/#What which has some sites that give out Material Safety Data Sheets, and further explains what they are.

Good luck!

We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
