What is the ideal fluxing compound for a Zn-1%Al bath for batch type galvanizing and why?

Hi, Theurge. Your question has remained unanswered for a long time. My knowledge of galvanizing is limited and I can't answer it. But I do know that it is the usual case for abstract questions posted here to remain unanswered whereas questions which include a person's actual situation are answered. Please try to flesh out your posting with what your interest in this is, and if you have tried any fluxes, what issues you had, etc. Thanks.
