A. Hello Jim!
AMS2417 revision F on zinc-nickel alloy plating was published in February 2001, and is available from the SAE (www.sae.org) for anywhere from $36 to $75. They should still be able to sell you a copy of revision E, since some aerospace contracts don't allow upgrading of material and process specifications. You'll have to call SAE customer service at 1-877-606-7323 (U.S. and Canada only) or
724/776-4970 (outside the U.S. and Canada).

A. Printed copies of AMS2417 are also available for $73. You may prefer this because the electronic version is "protected" by DRM technology, and you may not wish to foul your computer with such software.
