Satin gold and bright nickel electroplating
Dear sir,
I want to have satin gold and bright gold or bright nickel electroplating both of them on a single piece of zinc metal in such a way that whole of the piece is satin gold plated and in the center a logo or any alphabet (or suppose my name comes in the center of the piece) is in bright nickel plating. Thus I want to know about two different platings on a single piece.

This kind of selective plating and selective finishing is being done everyday. Ask your plater.

A. Hi Shaig. Neil is right, of course that selective plating allows different types of plating on different sections of the piece.
However, when you're looking for satin areas and bright areas of the same metal, such as nickel or gold, you usually bead blast the area you want satin while protecting, with masking if necessary, the area that you want smooth and bright. Good luck.
