Corrosion resistant Shop Vacuum
Help! Does anyone know where I can get a wet/dry vacuum that will hold up to cyanide, nickel plating solution, and Wood's nickel strikes? Lately, our shop vacs are only lasting a month or two. The vacuum impellers are attacked quite readily. A unit constructed of stainless steel or plastic would probably last. Cost isn't important, if the durability is there....

This seems like a safety problem, even if you have a different shop vacuum for each solution, which is impossible.
I have never seen anyone use this method, what are you doing with so much liquid where it does not belong?
If you banned shop vacuums, you would probably improve your operation.
