Alodine thickness vs. Resistance

Do you know of any studies or other data that relates thickness of Alodine 600 (or immersion time) to electrical resistance? It seems that one gets a lot of variation of resistances with the same immersion time. Would appreciate any thoughts you may have on this. Thanks.

Have you tried the manufacturer, Parker Amchem for that data.

The coating you get out of a chromate is affected by time, temperature, agitation, concentrations, age of the solution and pH. There is small wonder that there is a wide variation. It just needs to meet minimums, not an established standard.
