Tech Line announces the availability of DIAMONDYZE™.

DiamonDyze™ is a breakthrough in Anodizing Technology. DiamonDyze™ imparts hardness and wear resistance to Type II treated aluminum parts comparable to Hard Anodizing, with no significant dimensional change,. DiamonDyze™ will also impart the same benefits to Type III Hard Coat. DiamonDyze™ has a tighter ceramic reinforced pore structure than traditional anodizing and provides a smoother surface. DiamonDyze™ coats provides Thermal Barrier Characteristics, Friction Reduction, Wear Resistance, Enhanced Chemical and Corrosion Resistance; in one treatment. Currently 6061 Type II is over 8400 hr salt spray with no corrosion and 2024 Type II is over 1000 hrs UNSEALED with no corrosion; both in independent testing.

DiamonDyze™ is simply added to the dye tank or to a clear tank to improve corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, hardness, wear resistance and surface roughness. Properly used no significant dimensional change occurs as virtually all the reaction is growth into the substrate.
