dini's electrodeposition

A Review by Ted Mooney:

Jack Dini, a past national president of the American Electroplaters Society and section leader of fabrication processes at Lawrence Livermore National Labs, is perhaps our industry's best writer as well as one of our most qualified scientists. "Delightfully quirky" is a phrase usually reserved for fiction, but describes this text which brings new insights to a wide range of subjects, while remaining the most interesting presentation of metal finishing you will find.

The material is divided into ten chapters: Hydrogen Embrittlement, Adhesion, Diffusion, Properties, Structure, Additives, Porosity, Stress, Corrosion, and Wear. Even the table of contents seems a quirky way to facet materials science, and the result is 10 exceptionally readable and informative mini-books on those important facets of electrodeposition materials science.
