Hi, Tim. I don't know if slugged was the right word in my case, but sure, I was slapped around. I think most of us were :-)

Columbian is the right name, but we probably called it Columbia just as often.

Even those who sang in Choir were not immune to Sr. Rita and the missle she walked around with. I forget who she wacked in the head from the back for talking during rehearsal. Elaine Quinn I think. Well, her beanie went flying and we ( Sally Malia, Terry Flinn, Kathie Mooney) had all we could do to keep from laughing out loud. We were told to wipe the smirks off our faces. Which of course now made everything even funnier.

Several of the former Stockton students who went to Columbian School for 7th and 8th grade in the 1950's and 60's would love to see Columbian 8th grade graduation/promotion group photos. Does anyone on this site have photos like that to share either by posting them on this OLAS website or by scanning and sending them to me so that I can post them on the "Stockton School Alumni" group on Facebook and/or on my blog www.stocktonschool.blogspot.com?

Any responses or help greatly appreciated.
