1) Wastewater Treatment by Electrochemical Advanced Oxidation Process (EAOP).

Diamond has the highest overpotential for the generation of oxygen. For water treatment diamond offers the possibility to form hydroxyl radicals simply in the course of water decomposition. It is known that in Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOP), the removal of organic pollutants from wastewater and the disinfection of water can be achieved by the use of hydroxyl radicals. This is also true for the Electrochemical Advanced Oxidation Process (EAOP).

2) Highly Efficient Galvanic Procedures, e.g. Oxidation of Cyanide or Chrome Compounds.

The outstanding oxidizing properties of Diamond Electrodes have led to the introduction of new, highly efficient galvanic procedures.
