Black Oxide Conversion Coatings:

• Pentrate® Ultra - The latest development in black oxide finishing, Pentrate® Ultra produces the blackest possible finish on steel. Low drag-out reduces operating costs. Incorporated rectifiers control non-ferrous metal contamination in the working bath. Pentrate® Ultra exceeds the requirements of MIL-DTL-13924 and AMS 2485.
• Heatbath offers additional products for blackening stainless steel, cast and malleable iron, copper and copper alloys.

Phosphate Conversion Coatings:

Cold Forming and Wire Drawing

• Phos Dip® 38 - A zinc phosphate coating developed to withstand the deepest draws and the most severe deformation. A unique phosphate to nitrate ratio and increased metal accelerator produce the most uniform, tight-grained phosphate coating.  Used by immersion in batch or strand line applications. 

Heavy Zinc Phosphate

• Phos Dip® 1263 - Heavy duty corrosion resistant zinc phosphate coating for ferrous metals. Minimum sludge formation due to high nitrate to phosphate ratio. High tolerance for iron. Produces a dark, uniform coating with an average coating weight of 1500-3000 mg/ft². Conforms to MIL-DTL-16232.

Manganese Phosphate

• Phos Dip® M-22 - This manganese phosphate coating reduces wear and prevents galling of moving parts. Reduces friction in bearing applications. Coating absorbs lubricants and rust preventative oils for excellent corrosion protection. Used in immersion applications at 200-210^oF.  Conforms to MIL-DTL-16232.

Iron Phosphate

• Morphos® 101LTF - A single component detergent iron phosphate product for use in three or five stage spray wash operations. Excellent pH stability.

Decorative Plating Systems:

• Copper Brightener Systems - Highly ductile deposits used for a variety of applications including as a stop-off prior to heat treatment or for leveling prior to nickel plating.
• Nickel Brightener Systems - Used for bright, ductile nickel deposits with superior corrosion protection. Combine Heatbath particle nickel, high sulfur nickel, semi-bright and bright nickel-plating systems to pass the most stringent aesthetic, STEP and CASS testing requirements.
• Chrome Brightener Systems - Used for tarnish, scratch and wear resistance. Heatbath Chrome Catalysts increase plating speeds, exhibit better coverage and produce harder deposits. Plated surfaces are aesthetically pleasing with minimal iridescence and staining.

Electroless Nickel:

NEW! Nitec® Viro-Brite - Lead and Cadmium Free Mid Phos! RoHS Compliant! Produces a mirror-bright finish. Bath is exceptionally stable with consistent deposition rates.

• Nitec® 5100 - Low-phos (1-4%) electroless nickel; for maximum hardness "as deposited" and wear resistance.  Produces a semi-bright finish and offers excellent solderability.
• Nitec® 9200 - Mid-phos (5-9%) electroless nickel; high speed electroless nickel plating bath which produces extremely bright deposits throughout the life of the bath.  
• Nitec® 8200 - Hi-phos (10-13%) electroless nickel; for maximum corrosion resistance and high surface ductility. Produces a semi-bright finish that will pass the Nitric Acid test.

Zinc Plating Brighteners:

• Chloromax 3600WT - For potassium chloride, ammonia-free acid zinc plating baths. Has high temperature stability and tolerance for iron content.
• Lustra Zinc® AC 4030 - A liquid brightener system for producing brilliant and level deposits from mixed chloride baths. Contains a built-in ductilizer that significantly increases the ductility of thicker zinc deposits.
• Lustra Zinc® ACF 4000 - A concentrated brightener mixture for alkaline zinc plating baths that produces bright and ductile deposits over wide zinc metal and current density ranges.
