-----Polishing Alumina
Hi everybody,
I would like to polish Al foil 99.999% and have a surface as smooth as possible as well as no pits. I'm going to use that to fabricate porous alumina and those two things are really important for the process. Right now I'm mechanically polish as well as electrochemically. But most of the samples pits in the electrochemical process (I'm using phosphoric acid, chromic acid at 90C). I was wondering if there is an alternative way to the electrochemical step with good results.
Thank you everybody for your time.
