Cupric Chloride/HCL compatible liquid resist ink?

2001

I'm looking for a liquid etchant resist ink suitable for use with Cupric Chloride/Hydrochloric Acid etchant, that can be applied using a screen-printing technique on traces down to about .005".

This may be an odd request, but here's my reasoning:

1. Cupric Chloride/HCL is a relatively "benign" etchant.
2. Screen printing of etchant resist would be a damn sight cheaper than a board house/using transfer film for short run production (50-100 boards, 12" * 18" board size).

Any help would be appreciated.. Cheap suggestions also would be good. Erik L [last name deleted for privacy by Editor]

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
