Marks on black granite from orange juice, wine and vinegar

+

I recently had new black granite countertops installed in my kitchen. The company that supplied the granite said that it did not need to be sealed.

Now, about a month after it's been installed, there are what look like water stains on the surface. I did a test on an extra piece of the granite using orange juice, white wine and vinegar. They all left what looks like dull areas where I placed the liquid. On the advice of several granite suppliers, I have tried numerous products, but none of them remove the spots.

Do you have any suggestions on what I can do?

Thanks

I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW what you remedy you found. I have had the SAME problem. I had some vinegar on the counter and a friend of mine cut a lemon on my COUNTER TOP!!!

What do I do?!?!?!?

Likewise - I have exactly the same problem. Did you manage to find a cure for it? Would really appreciate help!

Ed. note: Sorry that you haven't received a response, folks. letter 11303 may be of some help, but this site is about industrial metal finishing, and a home improvement site may be a more fruitful place for your postings.
