What's in the process?

I want to import some sinuous wire 1070 tensel strength 1/4 rod. I want to find out how to process to give a clean, shiny appearance that will not rust for 6 mos-one year.

Is this rod made of steel? I will assume that it is. You may want to try galvanizing or zinc electroplating. For a very nice looking appearance, you can look at nickel plating (electroplating or electroless). Nickel will probably be expensive, but it depends on what your requirements for appearance are.
