-----Mechanism of Auto-Catalytic Nickel Deposition
2001
Dear Sir,
I have academic questions. Having said that - auto-catalytic deposition of nickel takes place on a piece of activated surface of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and of course with specifically designed nickel ions concentration, working pH and temperature ranges as well as correct amount of reducers, how can one visualise nickel ion deposition on activated surfaces?
Can we explain in term of excessive Gibb's free energy in each nickel ion, or in the mother liquor relative to the activated 'alien' surfaces? Also, how about from the kinetic of the reaction ?
Thank you.
