Hydrogen is an element. It can combine with different elements to make many different types of chemicals. For example, 2 hydrogen atoms combine with one oxygen atom to form one molecule of water. Hydrogen can also be found as a gas. Two hydrogens bond together to float around in a gas form.
Go to a search engine like www.google.com and do a web search for "hydrogen" and see if you can get some more detailed info. It would be better if you could go to a library and ask a librarian for help. The library will probably give you more of what you are looking for.

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
