Sir:
Whenever someone wants to coat/electroplate silver onto copper parts, the use of a Silver Strike is almost always indicated. The silver strike will have low metal and high free Potassium Cyanide (NOTE: This material is Toxic and should only be used by those who are specially trained in its safe handling and legal and proper waste treatment for disposal).
Following the silver strike, parts can be plated in a Silver Plating bath. Since you did not say how thick you need the silver, you would plate until the specified thickness was met.
