-----Capacity limitations of ion exchange columns
I WISH TO PUT UP A PLANT TO PRODUCE COLLOIDAL SILICA FOR WHICH I WOULD LIKE TO USE A RESIN COLUMN OF 4000 LITERS CAPACITY.I AM LITTLE CONFUSED WHETHER IT IS IT ALL RIGHT TO HAVE A SINGLE COLUMN OF THIS BIG CAPACITY.DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF RESIN COLUMN OF 4000 LITERS ARE COMMON OR NOT?

In my knowledge a 4000 litres exchange resin column is not an oversized one, provided you use proper pumps and water/liquid flow rate. You can find also bigger columns.
