-----Failed septic systems.
I am investigating the use of calcium polysulfide in the drain field of my septic system. Where can I obtain this product, do you recommend its use, can it be added to the septic tank when enzyme products have been added?

In a previous life (about 24 years ago) I was employed on a research project investigating the effect of baking soda [in bulk on eBay or Amazon [affil link] on septic tanks. I worked for the world's leading expert on design of septic tank systems.
What I learned from my employer during that time was simple:
Drain fields plug up when they are improperly installed or when the septic tank gets overloaded. Additives don't help very much. You need a big tank where the bugs can properly digest the solids. Then you need a drain field where the liquified waste can slowly permeate the soil and other bugs, plants, etc. can finish the job.
