Hopefully someone will give you the name of a book or a quick pointer, but questions get a bit too broad offer no good place to start.

Do you know how to do plasma nitriding on other steels, but not on satin steel? Do you know how to do gas nitriding, but not plasma assisted nitriding? Are you wondering which is better? Are you looking for corrosion resistance values, or hardness values, or costs? Are you trying to get one piece done, or millions? Or maybe it's a thesis assignment?
