Mounting accessories for PWB cross-sections

When preparing cross-sections from etched PWB, we have problems finding good holder or mounting accessories that prevents samples from turning in our epoxy-resin-cups. Can anyone help me with this problem ? Goran, Sweden

There are several metallographic supply companies who carry something that will work. I've typically used what looks like a tightly rolled thin strip of plastic or metal that you unroll about halfway, then allow the unrolled length to reroll, creating two connected rolls. You then place the cross section in the middle.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
