Electroless Nickel Bath Analysis Help

I am looking for a literature reference on bath analysis for electroless nickel baths. It needs to be detailed so that I can hand the reference to a chemist and he can analyze my bath. Reducing agent could be either hypophosphite or DMAB. I am also interested in any companies that sell automated analysis tools. Thanks.

There is a book available that is specific to the analysis of plating solutions. Try an online book retailer, and search for "plating solution analysis" ('cause I don't remember the book's name). Another source: Metal Finishing Guidebook and Directory issue has a section on analysis.

Sir: You will find that the manufacturer of your proprietary Electroless Nickel Solution should have an analysis of the main components in the bath. Most will be able to fax it to you pretty quickly. Should you be using a "home-brew" bath, the Platers Guidebook should answer your questions satisfactorily.

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
