Finishing Processes for hull of narrowboat

I would like all the available information on finishing processes for the exterior hull of a narrowboat. It would also be useful if you could send information on finishing processes with regard to fixtures on a narrowboat. Example:- Handrails (Chroming, painting etc.)

Hello, Mr. Conway. Try the Metal Finishing Guidebook as an introduction to these subjects. But there are whole libraries dealing with each of these subjects. If you can ask us a specific question I think people can help you; but when you ask for "all the available information" I don't know where to start.Good luck!
