Waterborn help needed

In a bind need to find a good waterborne sealer and lacquer that has the same dry time as a pre-cat lacquer. This may sound trivial to you but it is of the most productive importance to me and my finish dept. The Pres. of the company wants to put in aa oven that would take up 1/4 of my production space.

You don't say what you are coating. There are waterborne acrylic lacquers and sealers on the market. Usually take approx. 20 mins dry to touch. With a little air flow less time. You do not indicate if you have blocking requirements, UV and the like. There are also fast cure 2k urethanes or even UV cure. UV cure oven takes up very little space. Hope this helps

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
