Nickel electrodeposition moulds

2001

I am looking for information concerning the process of electrodeposition of nickel on polyurethane masters and the manufacturing of nickel shell moulds.

I'm a sculptor.

Thanx

Nico
- France

Nico:

The process that you are looking for is known as Electroforming. It is used for moulds, stamping tools, screens, etc. In France there must be several companies doing electroforming. If you do not find anyone suitable, you might contact Nickel Development Institute in Toronto,Can.

Good luck.

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
