Questions about color anodizing

Dear Sir,

I would like to ask a few questions

1) Why there is colour variation in colour anodising

2) For normal & hard anodising how much voltage current is to be given for a Sq.ft. area

Some general answers to your questions:

#1. There are many factors which lead to color variation Just to name a few:
Alloy
Coating thickness
Electrolyte parameters
Proper dye bath control

#2 For decorative anodizing you should be running around 12-15 ASF. For hardcoat, anywhere from 25-40 ASF is normal.
