Filling Grind Marks

Hi, I'm looking for the best method for filling grind marks in the table I am making. I don't want to weld and grind again. I'm used to working with heavy construction type materials that don't need to be finished.

I have just started my own one man co. You gotta do somthing, don't want to be a couch potato.

thank a.

Bondo on eBay or Amazon [affil link] ! Obviously nothing is as good as filling with the real thing but if you're going to paint, use Bondo, the instructions on the can are all you need. If you're looking for the raw steel look, there's only filling and sanding (with weld). Everything else will cost too much and doesn't work anyway for this kind of thing.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
