With out more information it's hard to tell.

Your problem might be delayed blisters, these appear when there is an excess of additives and / or bad preparation (cleaning).

Its been a few years since I was a plater , but I would suggest wet blast a few parts and try processing , if you get good results , your cleaning cycle is the likely culprit
