I'll agree with Max on the part about poor sealing part. There are also other things that can cause this problem. Check the pH on your dye tank(s) make sure its within range, and also check the tank for chlorides in the dye. They are most notorious for causing pitting problems in a dye tank but in my opinion nothing can be ruled out until you actually rule it out.
