-----Need aqueous cleaner help
My company is currently processing aluminum parts (cup-shaped)that are pre-cleaned in either trichlor or perchlor. The oil that is being treated is fatty acid based. We would like to eliminate the pre-clean step and be able to aqueous clean these parts in-house.We are not up on the latest advances in aqueous cleaning. Can anyone give me some advice on where the latest and best aqueous cleaners or cleaning systems are coming from?

Cleaning in this business has been proprietary for many years, so I would suggest trying the vendors at www.finishing.com/chemicals for technical bulletins on the products that they would recommend.
- I would plan on attending AESF Week, since that is when environmental advances are showcased by the AESF Educational Committee.
- A recent literature search will bring up lots of articles.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
