Need Iridium Electroplating of 18k Gold Rings

RFQ. Good Day,

I have been looking into plating 3 rings (engagement and wedding rings) with Iridium 0.5 Micron thick. Is this recommended? It looks like an exotic metal that will provide superior protection against scratching.

If it is recommended, what would the price range be for all three to be plated? How often would the rings need to be replated (assuming the 0.5 Micron thick plating)?
