-----Want burnished steel finish on interior wrought iron railing
I just finished constructing an interior wrought iron railing and wanted to achieve a light burnished steel finish.
Can someone please tell me how to do it and where I may get the materials.
Thanks for your help.

Hi, George. You're describing an art project more than a science project, and trial & error are implicit in art. But I think a heavy sanding with course grit, followed by a light buffing, which mellows the scratches without removing them, may be the look you're after. Practice on scrap, not your finished railing. Remember that steel/iron is not corrosion resistant and you will need to regularly clearcoat this railing.
