Removal of HDPE and LDPE from Stainless steel

Hi, I work with plastic extruders that heat the plastic to between 160 - 200 degrees. When the extruder head cools down we have plastic residue that sticks to the steel and can only be removed with.........a blow torch. Needless to say this is not ideal for the extruder head. I have tried Ultrasonic baths with no success, and have entertained the option of a heated oil bath, however have occupational health and safety issues to overcome.I have heard of a Sand Fluidiser which is used in the carpet industry for their extruders and spinners and believe this may help, but cannot find any information on the Sand Fluidiser - all I can locate on Google is a Fluidiser that separates water from sand etc. Is anyone able to assist?
