Safe dip for removing paint from ornate bonze/brass NCR cash register

I was a salesman for NCR back in the late 60's and purchased a 300 series "brass" ornate cash register from a customer. It had been painted silver. I removed most of the paint with removers of various kinds, but there is still paint in the ornate detail that I can't seem to remove. I'm thinking I could "dip" the cabinet pieces in some kind of solution to safely remove imbedded paint in these sections. What can I use?
Thanks for your time and efforts!

Hi, Patrick.

Non-caustic paint removers should not hurt the metal. I'd try dipping in turpentine [on eBay or Amazon] first. A stripper that will almost surely work is aircraft stripper, but this is methylene chloride, and is really dangerous, noxious stuff. Use it only outdoors, standing upwind, and wearing goggles and rubber gloves.

Try next mixture-2 parts acetone [on eBay or Amazon]/1 part ammonia [on eBay or Amazon] (25%).Hope it helps and good luck!
