Chrome plating aluminum wheels

I have a set of aluminum wheels that I would like to have chrome plated. Are there any issues or problems that I should be aware of before I have the work done? I live in Houston and there are several chrome plating shops in the area. How do I determine if a shop will provide quality workmanship and service? What kind of guarantee should I expect to receive?
