Rhodium Plating darkens or blues the diamonds

We very carefully clean all objects before Rhodium plating. However, very occasionally, some of the diamonds will have a darkened or bluish coating which we are not able to remove. What causes this effect and how can we remove it?

respected sir,
u dip that jewellery in hydrochloric acid,boil it for fifteen min.without washintion,using twizer u do ultrasonic in base media solution.do steam this for few second.then see result.
