List of top plating industry experts and organizations in the USA [Michigan]

I'm looking for a list of the top universities, consultants and organizations for the plating industry. The intent is to investigate failure modes and relationships between base materials and zinc iron plating.

Hi, Mike. The principal organization serving the plating industry is The National Association of Metal Finishers at www.namf.org. This organization incorporates the old American Electroplaters and Surface Finishers. You can contact them about their research projects to see which university groups conducted those projects. Some of the premier consultants serving the industry are listed in our Consultants Directory, but there is no ranked "list", and no one with the authority to proclaim who is the best.
