Need Titanium Pickling Service

April 22, 2009

I am looking for a Michigan or Ohio company to remove the oxidized (alpha) layer from some small titanium fittings I am having machined. I have a few hundred parts now, with hundreds more to come.

I am looking for an end product compliant with ASM-H-81200B, and am beginning with bar stock AMS-4928, water jetted, and machined into the fitting.

Need a shop that can pickle these parts ASAP!

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
