Electrochemical etching on S.S.

I want to use the electrochemical process for etching on SS304. Kindly guide me on :
1) what voltage transformer shall i use.
2) Should the output be ac / dc
3) what will be the suitable electrolye
4) what shall be anode and cathode

Hi, Maitri. We've posted your inquiry but I must admit that I think it unlikely that you will get answers because you seem to essentially be looking for the entire technology of electrochemical etching -- something that is answered by shelves in technical libraries, rather than by a response of a paragraph or two as appropriate to internet forums. Letters 1273, 1473, 7784, 12455, 15151, 23696, 24809, 25962, 40320, and 40814 address some aspects of this technology though. Good luck, and maybe it's not as broad as I think!
