Finish Conversion: Spark Eroded VDI3400

I have a European Spec that calls for a Spark Eroded VDI 3400 Ref. 33 Finish. I am trying to find a U.S. Spec that is an equivalent to the VDI callout. I have looked through a Tenibac Catalog and found one that looks close using a magnifying glass but I would like to be a little more exact.
