How to make vintage metal signs

June 12, 2008

Hi,
I'm from Spain, so excuse me if my English is not as good as I wish.
I'm trying to start my own business. I would like to start creating vintage metal signs replicas.
I would like to know
How to get enamel look to my metal signs?
Could I get a similar look with powder coating?
How can I make it look old?
Could I throw the signs to the stairs or bit them with a chain and then make them rust?
I was reading the forum and Is very helpfull.
I hope you understand my answers.
Thanks and kind regards
