-----Sealant for porous material before plating
A polymer or other coating to seal a porous ceramic-metal composite surface is needed. A conductive material will be better if available. This coating should withstand stripping chemicals for rework, if necessary. Subsequently, a metal will be plated.
Just to explain further, the porous material is microporous and the pores are not visible under low magnification.

Hello Mandar, Our company has a process that melts and refreezes the surface of materials removing cracks and sealing porosity. The size of such defects needs to be less than about 0.5 mils. The process does not raise the temperature of the base material.

Hello Mandar, My company is a vacuum impregnation sealant and equipment manufacturer. The advantage of the recycling type resin is that you are able to get back over 90% of the sealant you process that typically would end up as effluent, thus saving you money.
