AUTOPHORETIC PROCESS

March 7, 2008

I have a customer who orders parts made out of .134 thk C1010 CRS. Manufacturing process calls for self tumbling, dry and lightly oil to prevent rusting. We supply them parts that one gets welded in a tube and gets powdered coated and the other is welded in a rod and get the autophoretic process. The one that goes to the autophoretic process fails the adhesion test. Recently I gave them oil free parts with desiccant bags and they still fail. Please make me a hero by helping my customer. Thanks.
