Want easy gadget for hardness measurement of chromium plate [Serbia]

Hello dear colleagues,

I'm trying to find on the market some handy tester for measuring chromium plate hardness on various kinds of steels (magnetic, nonmagnetic, stainless steels, low alloy steels).
Operating range should be from 55Rc to 65Rc. It would be nice to have testers able to measure inner and outer plated diameters directly on plated component-part, not on the test piece. I have found some testers from QUALITEST Inc.H-100 and ESATEST portable testers. Technical manuals for this testers does not tell directly that chromium plate hardness can measured by them. They mention different kinds of steels, aluminium, brass, but never chromium plate. I thought measuring of hardness is the same for different kinds of metals, but now it seems more complicated, they measuring electro resistance, ultrasonic vibrations damping effect etc.
Please suggest some company/tester model for measuring hardness of chromium plate.
Please advice how to make a right choice.
