Black chrome finishing for scuba hose fittings

Hello everyone, my name is Roberto from Italy.
I've just been asked if we could produce our scuba diving hoses with black chromed fittings. Can anyone of you confirm if this kind of treatment is suitable for divers (salt, fresh and chlorine waters) ?
